Enter Information

The Enter Information dialog box is opened by selecting Search in the History Panel or by selecting Add or Edit in the Referral Setup dialog box.

History Record Search

The Search Criteria field allows you to enter a text string on which The system will search the Part Number and Description fields of the history records displayed in the History Panel. Once you have conducted your search, only those history record(s) which match your request are displayed in the History Panel.

To initiate a History Record word search:

1.     In the History Panel, select Search.

        The Enter Information dialog box displays.

2.     Enter the text you wish to search for (Battery, Oil Change, etc.).

3.     Select Ok.

4.     You are returned to the History Panel, with only those history records matching your request displayed.

Referral Setup

The Enter information dialog box is opened by selecting Add or Edit in the Referral Setup dialog box. Enter a new referral source (Newspaper Ad, for example) and choose Ok. The new referral source is added to the list.
